Tattoo Event: CNAF Autism & Hart & Huntington join forces + Giveaway

Picture Ontario had the privilege of attending a very special event at Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company Niagara.

Why was it special, you ask?

Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company,  and their tattoo artists,  generously donated their time, space and opened up their hearts to the Canadian National Autism Foundation. With a minimum of $25 donation, a person could have a puzzle piece tattoo. In three hours, they were able to raise almost $900 for the CNAF Autism. Awesome guys!!!

I am also pleased to announce,  in honour of  World Autism Awareness Day, they are planning another event April 2, 2012. I will keep you posted with details as they become available.  One thing for sure, the date has been secured.

I found with this  event, everyone had their own reasons, or personal stories as to why they wanted a tattoo.  It was a statement, a pledge, or to honour someone close to them.

One story, written by the twin sister of a young man diagnosed with Autism, that touched me the most.

She wrote:

Puzzle Piece Tattoo to honour a brother

“Autism, is a puzzle. ———————————————————————————– He is my most beloved friend and my bitterest rival, my confidant and my betrayer, my sustainer and my dependent, and scariest of all, my equal. Nathan Fougere, I love you with all my heart. This one’s for you buddy.

You don’t have to go to their store for a tattoo you know.  Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company Niagara  has a large selection of T’s, hats, pierced jewelry. Thinking of Christmas, or any old time, you can purchase a highly recognized and quality item from their store.  I don’t think anyone would complain about receiving an item from their store.  A gift from them would be considered well thought out, and considerate (my honest opinion here).

Speaking of generosity, Hart and Huntington Tattoo Company Niagara just doesn’t know when to stop.

For the purposes of our blog, they have generously donated a T-shirt and a hat as a giveaway.

In addition, they have donated a T-shirt to Picture Ontario Blog as a  giveaway as well.

So you have two chances to win something really, really nice.

I would and will be getting a tattoo to support something I believe in. When you have certain beliefs they never change, and when you get a tattoo they are permanent. What better way to honour your beliefs than carry them around for all to see. Some beliefs are not put out there enough and not recognized enough. It may take more than one to recognize it but it takes one to get the recognition.

I do trust all the concepts you’ve offered to your post. They are really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for beginners. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
