Who are Picture Ontario & Win some CNAF Autism Swag {Rafflecopter}

People have been asking, who are Picture Ontario and what does it have to do with CNAF Autism?  Hubby (Bill) and myself are Picture Ontario. I think it’s more than fair to tell you a little more about ourselves.   I am a Registered Practical Nurse, and Bill is semi-retired.  Our daughter is 25 years old.    No, we do not have a child diagnosed with Autism, but are familiar with disabilities and understand the need for the  awareness, and how difficult it is to be heard.  Not only the child has to be heard, but the parents.

We are true to the saying “A Picture is worth a thousand words” and this is why we are supporters and volunteers for the Canadian National Autism Foundation, assisting by blogging their giveaways and photographing their events.  Bill is an amazing photographer, and I,  his protégé, are honoured to be participating with the Foundation.

I plan to go into more depth about our mission statement on Picture Ontario, but in meantime it was more than fitting to briefly explain the connection.  This is why you see us on the contest entries.  Picture Ontario is another resource for spreading the word.  Hey, we have to be creative.

Well, that is enough about us!!

I’m here to tell you about another giveaway!!! We have some wonderful swag (illustrated below) that has been donated by the Canadian National Autism Foundation.

Open to Canada only. Ends March 7, 2012.

The swag includes the “Don’t Give Up On Me (Autism)” CD!!

On April 30, 2006 the new Autism Song “Don’t Give Up On Me (Autism)” was released by Victoria Boland for the Canadian National Autism Foundation.

“Don’t Give Up On Me (Autism)” is an original song that was recorded by Hamilton artist Victoria Boland and co-written with her mother; Viga Boland, specifically for the Canadian National Autism Foundation.  Listen to the sample clip.

Enter by using the Rafflecopter form below (please give it a moment to load).  There are daily entries, so increase your chances of winning by returning regularly.

This is a good time to mention that the Canadian National Autism Foundation has created a new facebook page making  it will be easier for you to follow the events and giveaways.
